Odin original ROMs do not always meet our needs, which is why some of us need to use other dedicated ROMs. Installing a custom ROM can give us more features than the original phone's default ROM.

But to install a custom ROM on your Samsung smartphone, you need to use a tool called Odin.

What is Odin, what does it do for us, download the latest version of Odin Flash Tool and how to install it are the main topics of our article today.

What is Odin?

Odin is an app developed by Samsung to allow developers and users to replace a custom OS with a stock OS (default), along with the ability to use it to disconnect some Android devices. Install and use it.

The most common uses of Samsung Elnen are custom phones or operating systems update, custom recovery, flash kernel, and root permissions access.

There are many options for Odin, such as Heimdall and JOdin3, and they both perform almost the same functions as Odin in many different ways, but from now on, Odin is the most popular and reliable tool to perform the functions above.

Explanation of Odin and installing Samsung ROMs

In this section, I will explain how to flash Samsung and use the latest version of Odin to install a custom ROM on my Samsung smartphone.

Before proceeding with the steps, you first need to download and install the latest USB drivers from Samsung so that you will not encounter any problems during the following steps.

For macOS computers, you no longer need to download Samsung USB drivers, just plug in your phone and get started, but for Windows users, you can download official Samsung USB drivers via this link:

Now is the time to start flashing the custom OS on your smartphone.

After downloading and extracting the Odin Flash Tool for Samsung devices, three files will be prepared for you:

Odin3.exe

Odin3.ini

Official Samsung Odin Web.html

To use Eden, you must download the ROM or custom OS you want from the relevant websites, and the format of these files should usually be "bin, .tar or MD5".

Once you have all the required files, start your device in download mode as in the picture. Next, you can enter your phone's download mode by turning off the phone, pressing and holding the Power / Pause button , and the Volume Down + Home button.

(Of course, this method may differ on every phone)

When you feel the vibration, release the Power key until a window with a yellow triangle appears, then press the Volume Up button.

You will see a message that says: “Download, do not stop target”, after seeing this message, run Odin3.exe as administrator on your computer, connect Android phone with USB cable, Odin detects the device automatically and gives you an alert.

The message is displayed in a white box on the left side of the screen.

Now that you get to this step, call the file that you want to flash according to its type by clicking on the PDA or access point defined for the program.

After selecting the file, click on the Start button to start the flashing process.
Flashing a new ROM may take some time depending on many factors including OS size, specifications of your device, etc., and when this process is complete, you will see a message in green saying PASS!

After these steps, your device will automatically restart and the new operating system will load successfully.

Warning : This process will void your device's warranty and may damage your device, all of which are your responsibility

All of these steps have been tested by me and others many times but it is best to back up all your data to make sure you don't lose at least some of your data if there is a problem.

As

a result of permission, these are the ways to download the latest version, install and use the Odin Flash Tool for Samsung devices so that you can easily install any operating system or kernel on your phone without having to go to repair centers Mobile devices and pay for this easy process.

If you have problem with the above steps and using the Odin Flash tool, share it with us in the comments section at the bottom of the page, I hope the article was helpful to you.
